1. Take I-5 (northbound or southbound) to SR-520 freeway intersection (approx. 2 miles north of Seattle's downtown district) - Freeway signs display "SR-520 Eastbound to Bellevue & Kirkland"

2. Take SR 520 eastbound about 1 mile, to the first intersection at NE Montlake Blvd. At stoplight at top of freeway off-ramp, turn left (north) onto Montlake Blvd. Stay on arterial, past UW football stadium, about 3.5 miles to NE 65th Street (NOTE: arterial changes names as it curves, from Montlake Blvd, to NE 45th Street, to NE Sandpoint Way)

3. Turn right off of Sandpoint Way onto NE 65th Street - watch for "Magnuson Park" sign. Western Fisheries Research Center is located approx. ¼ mile down NE 65th St. on the right. Watch for gated entry & sign "US Geological Survey, Western Fisheries Research Center"
