Mr. Walker has conducted research in urban settings evaluating the effects of different land use on stream water quality and biota. He has been working at the Columbia River Research Laboratory since 2001. Currently, he is working on developing methods to characterize surface water/ground water interactions using cellular, biochemical, and genetic tracers.
