M.S. 1990. Fishery Biology, Colorado State University. Behavioral ecology of fishes in altered ecosystems and the research, development, and application of radio telemetry technologies for behavioral studies.
Station Chief, Klamath Falls Field Station. Current research includes a long-term monitoring program for endangered Lost River suckers and shortnose suckers in the Upper Klamath Basin to assess changes to these populations and examining the movements and behavior of adult suckers in Upper Klamath Lake with respect to water quality and habitat conditions. Previous research includes examining the feeding behavior of predaceous fishes in the Columbia and Snake rivers and studying the movements and distribution of northern pikeminnow and juvenile anadromous salmonids near hydroelectric dams with radio telemetry.
