Sally has worked at the Columbia River Research Laboratory since 1989. Her research interests and work experience are diverse, ranging from smolt physiology and the thermal biology of salmonids to predator-prey interactions, watershed ecology, and invasive species. Currently, she provides technical scientific writing and statistical support to research projects, including work on coastal cutthroat trout, American shad, northern pikeminnow predation, and water temperature issues.
